To enroll in any offshore training—including BOSIET, FOET, or HUET courses—you must first be certified as “Fit to Train.”

This certification requires additional medical checks, which must be completed before you are eligible to start your course.

The Assessment:

• You will first complete a questionnaire covering your respiratory, ear, nose, and throat health.

• This is followed by a face-to-face medical assessment with an OEUK registered Doctor, who will also perform a lung health assessment.

Timing & Preparation:

• Allow approximately 20 minutes for this medical. It may take longer if you combine it with your standard offshore medical.

• Your glasses or contact lenses
