To regain your driving license after your disqualification expires, you must satisfy the DVLA of your fitness to drive. This requires attending a mandatory, independent medical examination with a DVLA-appointed doctor.

Procedure and Assessment

The required assessment includes the following steps:

• Medical Examination

• CDT Blood Test and Urinalysis

• Completion of a Questionnaire and any other tests the doctor deems necessary to clarify your fitness.
