Why do we collect your information and What we do with your data?
We collect your personal information to;
- For current or prospective employees; Enable us to provide feedback or consider your suitability for potential job opportunities that you (or a person/company with whom you are associated) acquire or wish to acquire. Conduct onboarding processes for new employees. Fulfil contractual and legal obligations.
- For Clients, Prospective Clients and Suppliers; Meet contractual obligations to clients and their employees in the delivery, administration or management of our services.
- For Patients; to assess your health as well as diagnose, provide treatment and drugs to you as well as in some cases, evacuate you from your place of work to a more appropriate medical centre to receive care for your condition.
For patients or client’s employees, where your data forms part of the provision of the occupational health service, our authorised staff such as Occupational Health Adviser (OHA), Occupational Health Physician (OHP) and other individuals delivering health interventions will use this data to provide information or reports about your fitness for work recommendations, work-related assessments or health surveillance to your employer.
With your consent, we will share relevant information from your medical records, including occupational health record to other service providers when making a referral or coordinating a medical evacuation e.g. for physiotherapy or to see a mental health specialist.
For Clients, Prospective Clients and Suppliers, we will use and otherwise process Personal Data to manage our relationship with you and aid the delivery of our services.
What happens if you don’t provide the information?
Without your personal information we may not be able to provide some of our services or we may be restricted in the way those services can provided.
Who might we share your personal information with?
Your personal information will not be shared with anyone else without your consent, unless it is needed in connection with our ongoing supply of services to you and for purposes associated with the supply of those services. We may only share your information without your consent in exceptional circumstances such as;

If we are providing services to you as a Client, we may share your personal data with authorized third party suppliers such as Sub-Contractors and our technology partner in order to fulfil our contractual obligations. We take appropriate steps to ensure that such personnel and third-party suppliers are bound to duties of confidentiality and we implement measures such as standard data protection contractual clauses to ensure that any transferred Personal Data, remains protected and secure.
We never sell your data to third parties, anonymous or otherwise. We never gather more personal information than we need to do our job – only the minimum information we need to provide you with MediTree’s products and services. We never give access to your data to people who don’t need it – whether a third party or one of our own employees.
